It Takes Courage

People often have great ideas. They find a way to align their passion with a meaningful purpose. Unfortunately, many people never find the courage to commit to it fully. Do you want to go through life with regrets wondering, “What would have happened, if only I had …” Or, do you want to live your life to the fullest, pursuing passionate purpose?

Pursuing passionate purpose and reaping the real rewards in life take COURAGE. Courage comes from a French root, corage, which means having heart. In my “Pursuit of Passionate Purpose” research project, the 80 participants from various walks of life shared their wisdom on how they found the courage to commit and live their passion.

6th Practice of Prosperity

That is why the 6th Practice of Prosperity states: “Envision the outcome and commit to your passionate purpose.”

Practical Pointers

The real question is, “How can you strengthen your courage to commit? Try this.

  • Follow your heart. When your purpose is in line with your values, courage more easily comes. What can you do to increase your sense meaningfulness from this purpose?
  • Surround yourself with courageous people. Learn from and connect with others.
  • Overcome fear. The risks of not committing may be larger than committing. Practical suggestions for overcoming fear and other hindrances that may be holding you back are provided in Pursuit of Passionate Purpose: Success Strategies for a Rewarding Life. Book pre-publication orders are being taken now at www.TMSworld.com.
