Spread Love

A friend posted on Facebook, “There is too much hate and too many who want to keep the hate going! BREAKING NEWS: We all need to show our love to one another.” He challenged friends to comment “Love Ya” to his post and then put it on your status. So I did that and it felt good to see who actually commented “Love Ya” to my post. I am now spreading the intention even farther.

Practical Pointers for Spreading Love

What can you do to show love to others, in both personal and business life? Get creative. Be simple. Start now. Use the Connections Strategy, as explained in my book, Pursuit of Passionate Purpose. Here are a few ideas. Let me know your ideas and your progress.

1.
BE THE EXAMPLE. Find your own way to spread love. Is it through your smile? Is it by saying “Love you?” Is it, in a business situation, by looking your colleague sincerely in the eyes, by giving a genuine smile, by offering a solid hand shake, and in your mind saying “I share my love with you?” Is it by giving a big hug to your friends and family members?
Although she has since passed on, I still remember, and always will, my older sister Janice giving me a big bear hug as I came into her house. I had just had my purse stolen at O’Hare Airport. I was feeling rotten. I wasn’t able to rent a car for that trip so she picked me up at the airport and brought me to stay at her nearby house. When we arrived, she said, “I decided we need to show our love more. I’m going to give you and those I love big hugs.”
2.
ASK PEOPLE to show love to one another. Post the BREAKING NEWS of above or something similar on your social media platforms.
3. CREATE A WONDERFUL WORLD. Every time someone asks “How do you do?” know that they are really saying “I love you.” Think of the lyrics in the song What a Wonderful World sung by Louis Armstrong. Listen and spread the love.

I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, “How do you do?”
They’re really saying
I love you.

I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more
Than I’ll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world.
Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Ooh, yes.

Summary

As Albert Einstein wrote, in a letter to his daughter Lieserl, “There is an extremely powerful force that, so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. This universal force is LOVE. This force explains everything and gives meaning to life. When we learn to give and receive this universal energy, dear Lieserl, we will have affirmed that love conquers all, is able to transcend everything and anything, because love is the quintessence of life.”

The most important thing in life is relationship. Spread love in your own way!
