How can you assure a prosperous 2004?

Power the pull and drop the push. What’s that, you ask? Let’s revisit an earlier message of mine about this concept.

Is pushing too hard “killing your passion?” David Chernikoff, meditation teacher and psychotherapist, points out that ‘busy’ is depicted by two Chinese characters ‘killing’ and ‘heart.’ Consider how you feel when you are overly busy or pushy. Are you striving to do too much and pushing for accomplishment, while depleting your batteries? Pushing against the flow wastes tremendous energy. Join me in trying this antidote based on the Pull Principle.

Practical Pointer:

  • Stop. Set a clear intention for what you are aiming.
  • Hold the Intention, tenderly like a mother holds her newborn, in your whole being — in your heart, head, and hands. Open to the Possibilities.
  • Paint a Picture, or vision, of what you desire.
  • Power the Pull by taking focused action. Undertake many different things that stimulate head, heart, and hands energy. Use your head — build a plan and implement it. Feel the positive outcomes with your heart. Engage your hands and body in the process. These actions realign your energy field to gently ‘pull’ or attract what you want toward you.
  • Let Go of attachment to the outcome and go with the flow. Say the following affirmation every day, “I am proud of the fact that it is easy for me to visualize and attract those things I want in life.”

Stop pushing. Instead use the Pull Principle to bring more results and enjoyment. Take this advice from Lauren Ward Larsen, blood advocate:

“I do believe in the power of intention. Be clear on what you want and be willing to work at it.”

5th Practice of Prosperity

The 5th Practice of Prosperity is: “Use the Pull Principle to realign your innate energy to pull like a magnet.” Over the next year in monthly installments, this newsletter is highlighting each of the “12 Practices of Prosperity” described in my presentations, consulting, coaching, products, and forthcoming book on Pursuit of Passionate Purpose. What do I mean by prosperity? All that you want in work and life — real rewards of meaning, satisfaction, results, financial gain, and more.
